Return policy and right of withdrawal

The three statutory instalments

1. If the right of withdrawal applies, report the withdrawal within 14 days of receipt of the product.
2. After your report, you have 14 days to return the product.
3. We will refund all payments received, including the standard shipping costs, no later than 14 days after your report. We may wait until we have the product back or you prove that it has been shipped.

Important exceptions

Our physical prints, tiles, posters and canvases are made especially for you based on your photo and choices. For products that are manufactured according to the specifications of the consumer or are clearly personal in nature, no right of withdrawal applies on the basis of Article 6:230p under f of the Dutch Civil Code.

For digital content, the right of withdrawal expires only after the delivery has begun within the cooling-off period with your prior express consent and your declaration that you thereby waive the right of withdrawal. If these conditions are not met, the statutory right remains in force.

An exception to the right of withdrawal does not affect your legal rights in the event of a wrong, damaged or defective product. In that case, please contact us at support@paintyourfamily.com; we resolve transport damage free of charge.

Return address and costs

If the right of withdrawal applies, the direct costs of the return shipment will be borne by you. Choose an appropriate and, if necessary, insured shipping method and keep the proof of shipment.

Loss in value

You are allowed to view and rate a product as it is possible in a store. If you have gone beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and operation, we can pass on the resulting depreciation. We do not charge for damage caused by normal and careful assessment.
